Use the bike lock provided by dc scooter and make pit stops at the Smithsonian Museums and Capital Building. Dc scooters are fast (3 modes), family friendly (ages 10+), and include free training! There are NO RESTRICTED RIDE ZONES - ride everywhere other scooters can’t! Dc scooters include a lock, helmet (optional), and onsite scooter training! Our group scooter rentals do not require an app to download and are available to rent by the hour or by the day. You can book in advance through our website or call/text and talk to the dc scooter staff.

DC scooter is what made our entire trip! First time going to Washington DC and as soon as we got there I realized my daughter and I needed scooters to people to see as much as possible. We called DC Scooter and by the time we finally found a parking space he was there with the mini segways! We ended up living then so much that I rented them for all day and even over night! We saw more then we could have ever imagined in the 3 days we were there! Nothing better than cruising through the national mall walkways on these mini segways at midnight 😁 This was our vacation vacation to date thanks to these scooters. They are self balancing and we both felt very safe and comfortable on them! My daughter is only 11 and I am disabled due to a major car crash in 2013 so that should speak for itself!

DC Scooter provided great electric scooters and exceptional service while my family of four was visiting DC. They dropped them off right in front of our hotel the night before we needed them so they’d be ready to go first thing in the morning. They communicated throughout the process, provided locks and helmets, and were always available by text for any questions. The scooters were rugged, easy to use, and kept a charge for the 12 hours and countless miles we used them throughout the day. My kids (14 and 11 years old) had no problems with them, and said the scooters were their favorite part of the trip. They really allowed us to see all the sights we wanted during our short stay - there’s no way we would have been able to make it to everything if we were walking. We'll definitely reserve scooters from DC Scooter whenever we come back 😊

DC Dart Scooter was fantastic! My Dad, son and I gave to the city for the first time to visit, participate in the Cherry Blossom races and enjoy the museums. As a treat, I rented scooters for my son and me one afternoon. Unfortunately one of the scooters stopped working after a while and when I called to let the company know, they immediately called me back, refunded me for the lost time and gave me complimentary scooters to enjoy the next day. Joey was absolutely fantastic by returning my call immediately, being so kind and accommodating and standing behind their product. I would 100% recommend this company and experience. It was a great way to get around the city quickly and complimented our 10-20 miles of walking per day (to keep my son happy and entertained as well!)
